Loving mother of Marie-Lourdes Nicoli, Yasmine Nicoli, Dominique Chemaly, Nancy Hoover and Anis Chemaly. Dear sister of Jamal Marzouka, Jack Marzouka, Karime Melcom and Harold Marzouka. Rocco A. Rizzo, 79 of Woodrow formerly of Grant City, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Staten Island University Hospital North. Born Friday, August 14, 1936 in Hells Kitchen section of, New York, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria Rizzo. He was the beloved husband of Rosaria (D’Elia) Rizzo. Devoted father of Geraldine Arnone, Marie Kentzel and Lisa Buratti. Fond father in law of Ignazio, Carl and Giorgio. Loving brother of Millie Cintorino, Peter, Rosemarie Sortino and the late Anthony. Rocco is also survived by his 5 grandsons and his 2 great grandsons. Rocco enjoyed travelling with his family and his dear friends Frank & Rosemarie Manno, which was most appropriate as he was a Assistant Vice President for a Cruise Ship Company, He enjoyed family vacations in Lake George, taking trips to Atlantic City with his wife, but what he enjoyed the most was his love of cooking especially making Sunday dinner for his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at St. Christopher’s Church time to be announced. Entombrment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Frank Cipriani, 80, of Annadale passed away at Staten Island University Hospital on Thursday evening May 4th surrounded by his loving family. Frank was devoted to his wife of 54 years Delia ( nee D’Amico). He moved to Staten Island when he was from Greenwich Village. After attending trade school he began his working career as an auto mechanic, which led him to work for General Motors for several years. He then switched careers and was a presser in the garment industry. When he finally retired he took a job as a custodial engineer at St. John Villa. A man of varied talents, hobbies and interests, Frank, first and foremost was a family man. He was devoted to his wife Delia, and his three daughters; MariaLisa, ClaireAnn Bove and Francesca Vicioso. He doted and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons Salvatore and Dante Vicioso. Frank made his own wine, made and dried his own meats and sausage. He grew his own tomatoes for use in his homemade sauce. He cherished spending the Holidays surrounded by his family including his sister RoseMarie Rossitto, his son in laws Richard Bove and Richard Vicioso and his nieces and nephews. In his spare time Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to Gateway State Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday begining at 10:00AM at Holy Child Church. Entombment will follow in Moravian Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will take palce on Friday from 2-5 PM and 7-9PM

Rose C. Tufano passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday at Clove Lakes Health Care Cener where she had been a resident for the past 6 years. Born in Brooklyn to Anthony and Laura Tammaro, Rose lived in Bay Terrace prior to entering Clove Lakes. During her time at Clove Lakes she seved as the President of the Clove Lakes Homeowners Association. A woman of varied interests and talents, she was a lifelong die- hard avid NY Yankees fan. She loved talking any and everything Yankess with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching the games with them. She was a Manager of the Great Kills Little League, a member of the Red Hat Society and she was very active in Girl Scouting when her daughters Hope Leone and Donna Laudani were growing up. In her spare time she enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing and watching wrestling. She was extremely talented and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. In addition to her daughters she is survived by her son in laws Mike Leone and Mike Laudani. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Laura, Michael, Mikey, Amanda, John and Anthony all of whom were the apple of her eye. She was pre deceased by her brother George in 1987. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday from 7-9PM and on wednesday from 2-5 & 7-9PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00AM Thursday at St. Clare’s RC Church. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery

Lucy Anzalone of Eltingville passed away on Tuesday May 10th at the age of 94 at the Addeo Hospice Residence. Born in Brooklyn to Anthony and Louisa Maro she moved to Etingville in 1994 . A woman of strong character , charm, grace and memory. she never forget who came to see her and when she last saw them. She was a tremendous cook who took great pride and pleasure in making meals for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family and playing Bingo scratch offs and word searches. She is survived by her her three children; Vivian Aanonsen, Louise White and Joseph. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Jennifer and Cindy White and Alan and Adam Aanonsen.
